Jesse Bravo was drawn into the field of digital Photography at its beginning due to his ongoing fascination with developments in photography coupled with his extensive knowledge of computer-based imagery. His purchase of a Better Light Digital Scan Back with a 48 bit 216 mega-pixel capability (compared with the average cameras 12) secured for him a grant for digitizing the Crocker Art Museum’s collection in Sacramento, California. This project led Bravo into the role of a trail blazer due to the experimentations and innovations he had to make in order to complete the monumental task, such as 360 degree camera roll-outs of intricate three-dimensional objects. Currently, Bravo is applying his expertise to the digitization of art for collectors, artists’ both amateur and professionals as well as museums.
